Philips HeartStart Home Defibrillator is specifically designed for use in the home, where more than 73.4% of all cardiac arrests occur (AHA, 2023).

Quite simply, sudden cardiac arrest can happen to anyone, anywhere at any time. And although it can strike without any symptoms or warning, there is something you can do to be prepared.

Easy as 1-2-3

1. Press the green On/Off button to activate voice instructions and visual icons or pull the SMART Pads Cartridge’s green handle.

2. Place the pads on the patient as directed.

3. When advised by the device, press the orange Shock button.
