The Philips HeartStart FRx AED features intuitive, step-by-step voice instructions, including CPR guidance, and an audible metronome to help guide basic life support (BLS) responders while treating a suspected sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) Pre-connected SMART Pads II can be used for both adults and children. HS1 AED Infant/Child SMART Training Pads (M5074A) can be installed in either the HS1 AED or the HS1 Trainer to facilitate AED and CPR training. When installed in the HS1 AED, the device goes into training mode and the ability to deliver a shock is suspended. The Training Pads enable the user to run any of eight emergency scenarios, which include voice instructions and CPR guidance specific to infants and children under 55 lbs. (25 kg) and less than 8 years of age. Each training pads cartridge consists of a removable clear protective lid with a handle, a resealable film cover, and a pair of reusable adhesive pads.* It is packaged with an infant/child Pads Placement Guide and illustrated instructions for installing the cartridge, using the Pads Placement Guide, and repackaging the cartridge after using it. A training pads cartridge can also be used on a manikin, connected with an external manikin adapter (not included).

HeartStart HS1 AED Adult SMART Pads Cartridge (M5071A) are appropriate for cardiac arrest victims weighing 55 pounds (25 kg) or more. SMART Pads will provide feedback to the AED so it can adapt its voice instructions to your actions and your pace.

HeartStart Event Review Pro is a software solution designed to help you analyze your facility's response to cardiac events. It offers built-in compatibility with your Philips AEDs and monitor/defibrillator devices and includes a range of tools that allow post-event data analysis.

The standard carry case (M5075A) is constructed with semi-rigid materials and covered in durable red cordura. The case comes equipped with a pair of paramedic scissors and can accommodate one spare pad cartridge and a spare battery pack. Does not include AED. Carry Case Only.

The Infant/Child Key is for use only with the HeartStart FRx defibrillator to treat an infant or child who is less than 8 years of age or weighing less than 55 pounds (25 kg). If you are uncertain of the child’s exact weight or age, apply the defibrillator without the Infant/Child Key. Once the Infant/Child Key is inserted, the FRx automatically reduces the defibrillation energy and provides voice and visual instructions and CPR guidance appropriate for treatment of infants and children. Graphics on the key show proper pad placement for infants and children.

Use the Internal Manikin Adapter inside the Laerdal Little Anne CPR Manikin or the Laerdal Resusci Anne CPR Manikin in conjunction with the Philips HeartStart FRx Trainer.

Save valuable time in an emergency with pads that can be used on adults, children and infants. SMART Pads II eliminate the expense of having to purchase different pad sets for different patient types. These pre-connected pads are packaged in a semi-rigid case for added protection and are equipped with a HeartStart-compatible plug for easy hand-off to Philips advanced life support ALS monitor/defibrillators. The multifunction SMART Pads II connector is compatible with HeartStart manual defibrillators, and can be used for ECG monitoring, external pacing, and synchronized cardioversion as well as defibrillation. For patients less than 8 years of age or weighing less than 55 pounds (25 kg), use the FRx Infant/Child Key, if available.
